Good Grief was launched early spring 2002 for a sportfishing enthusiast with many years of offshore experience. He decided on our 36 Downeast hull which we customized to fit his requirements for a fast, seaworthy fishing machine capable of expeditions out to the canyons for tuna or just cruising locally with the family. Powered by a 660 hp Cat diesel, she tops out at 28 knots and will cruise all day at 20-22. knots. She is equipped with a custom center console helm in the pilothouse with dual controls on the flybridge. The oversized aft cockpit includes a third helm station as well as bait and fish lockers. Her custom cherry interior, with V-birth forward, is fitted out with a spacious galley equipped with two burner stove, microwave, refrigerator and freezer, plus lots of storage for amenities and plenty of racks for rods. Good Grief debuted at the 2002 Newport International Boat Show.
