We have had so much enjoyment from our new boat, including a family outing to view the tall ships in New York, a cruise from Greenwich to Maine, and three delightful weeks cruising the Maine Coast that it has been difficult to find time to write to tell you how pleased we are with the boat.

I have been boating for over fifty years and a boat owner for the last thirty. When I decided to purchase a Duffy 35 to be customized by you, I was interested in three things: functionality (including reliable systems), comfort for long cruises, and  above all, good looks. With your help, we hit the bulls eye on all three.

You were able to translate our wishes into an extraordinarily comfortable and good looking boat. She is a real head turner, and it is so satisfying to hear so many knowledgeable boaters, from yachtsmen to lobstermen, tell how well thought out and attractive the boat is. We were in a slip in South Freeport next to a brand new Picnic Boat and were told by the dock crew that her owners were unhappy with it because its usability was so limited. When Patricia asked what they wanted, the dock crew said "Your Boat!"

You and your crew, especially Rob, Rich, and Carlos, should be as proud of your handiwork as we are proud to be the owners.
